For the 2021 season we will return to a beach club format to allow the more serious beach athletes more high-level exposure. Scheduled practices will now be only for registered players, no "drop-ins" allowed. Clinics, open to all, will still be hosted when schedules allow. Tournament hosting will continue with a location change due to road construction on Park Rd 22 between Commodores and Whitecap. Arrangements can be made in advance for individual teams wishing to travel to tournaments not already on our schedule over the summer.

We have enjoyed working with all the beach athletes that were with us last summer during such a trying time and look forward to this coming season with some of the "normalcy" it will bring. It is an important priority for NextStep to continue to help grow this sport by providing opportunities for all our athletes to train and compete as much as they desire.

01/222020 Games of Texas cancelled due to COVID-19

Summer 2020 will see the return of the #ReachTheBeach  tournament series for the junior athletes. Last summer we welcomed players from the valley and San Antonio areas and will continue to push interest in our events to continue to grow them even more and the keep raising the level of competition.

Big news for July is that NSVB will be operating the beach volleyball events for the Games of Texas, hosted by the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF). Athletes from all over the great state of Texas will descend upon Corpus from July 30-Aug 02 to compete in numerous athletic events. Details for beach volleyball are still being finalized but the events will include men's doubles, women's doubles, and junior's doubles. We are honored to be included in this event and excited by the city's strong commitment to put on a top notch experience for all the competitors.
