All events are "weather permitting" with cancellations posted no later than 9pm the prior evening. Weather delays once an event has started will be handled at that time.

All events are pool play with single elimination bracket to follow.

Cost is $80/team. Pools will be set up based on the number of entries per division and may mix age divisions. Brackets will be by age division. Possible morning and afternoon start times.

The number of teams advancing to bracket play will vary from event to event, but each team will play a minimum of 4 games.

BOYS - We welcome boys playing! However, 12U and 14U boys play on the same net height as girls so in those divisions so, in keeping with the spirit of growing the sport, we allow boys or co-ed teams. For 16U/18U, due to net height (7'11") requirements by rule, there must be enough teams entered to field each division.

Ice water for player refills will be provided.

Free parking available at Windward parking lot (for Ellis beach only) or park on the beach with $12 annual parking permit, good for ALL Nueces county beaches. Permits sold at the beach access road entrances, parking enforcement officers, and most local convenience and grocery stores. Permits are valid through Dec 31 of the calendar year.

Event cancellations (weather/beach conditions) will be posted 24 hours prior.

ALL PLAYERS/SPECTATORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING THE RULES SUMMARY! REMEMBER - IN BEACH VOLLEYBALL EVENTS SPECTATORS ARE FORBIDDEN FROM ANY COACHING DURING RALLIES - EXAMPLES ARE CALLING "IN" OR "OUT", YELLING "OVER", ETC. THEY ARE ALSO NOT ALLOWED TO ADDRESS THE REFFING TEAM. FIRST INFRACTION WILL RESULT IN A FRIENDLY REMINDER AND ANY FURTHER WILL RESULT IN A POINT PENALTY. This is universal for all junior beach organizations (USAV, AAU, JVA, ANP-NEXT) to keep the focus on these young athletes and their efforts in the sport.
